About Flowerhead Cards

Who are we?

Hello and thanks for visiting our business. Flowerheads is part of "The Flower Acre" a small artisan Flower farm in North Yorkshire run by Caroline & Mike Newland.

What are Flowerheads?

They are a range of celebration cards containing fresh British flowers. Picked before Breakfast, arranged before lunch and dispatched by tea time. Delivered fresh to you by 1st Class post. Each card is individually crafted and includes a personalised message. They are despatched to your chosen recipient on the date of your choice. Flowerhead parcels also fit through the average letterbox so a signature for the parcel is not required.

Who makes the Flowerheads?

We do, located in the North Yorkshire countryside Caroline & Mike Newland are artisan growers of flowers and of course makers of Flowerheads. “ Sharing our farm, and the countryside surrounding it, has always been part of our lives. Natural England supports us in delivering farm visits and workshops to engage adults and children with the countryside, its crops and of course our Flowers“. Starting the Flowerheads business has let us share our flowers and gifts from artisan local producers with a far wider audience.

What goes into a Flowerhead parcel?

Fresh flowers lovingly arranged, gifts from artisan rural businesses and your personal message. We only use British blooms to craft our flowerheads, most of which are grown by ourselves. By the very nature of being British it means that the flowerheads change with the seasons. Our speciality when available are sweet peas, full of scent and so typical of summertime in an English country garden. During the winter months we use many dried flowers, again grown and dried by ourselves, combined with fresh blooms from elsewhere in the UK.
